Historical Publication Images

Approximately 500 scans of published images from architectural journals, periodicals, and exhibition catalogs (1890s-1920s) that were compiled in the 1990s. Organized chronologically and searchable by names and geographical locations, these images were scanned at best resolution available at the time. The image may seem small by contemporary standards. However, the corresponding images widely available on the internet often have compression flaws (such as moire patterns) or other detail obscuring faults that are absent in the older scans since they were taken from original surfaces.
