HIGH SCHOOL, Sandusky, Ohio

George Feick heard of this project on one of his sojourns at home. If he could have stayed on the job and given continuous attention to securing the work, I think we might have secured the commission. As I look back, I think we were unwise not to have kept him there for six months. He could have lived at home at no expense, in an effort to secure an opportunity to build a school. It was a big layout, a good years work for a superintendent.

G. E. [Elmslie] made some plans for a complete school plant.

W.G.P. [Purcell] designed the exterior and made the presentation drawings, all "modern" and streamlined. Our design would be fully at home in any 1950 city.
